Getting organized from day one saves time, prevents mistakes, and protects your investment. Here's a simple system for managing your injectable storage — regardless of what your protocol includes.
Step 1: Know What You Have
List every compound in your protocol — name, vial size, and concentration. Your healthcare provider should supply this information. Keep a written record alongside your storage case.
Step 2: Calculate How Many Vials You Need
Work with your provider to determine how many vials you'll need for your protocol duration. Once you have a number, use our Vial Case Calculator to find the right case size.
Step 3: Choose the Right Case Size
Running 2–4 vials? A compact travel case keeps everything in one place. Managing a longer protocol? A 20 or 30-vial case gives you room to grow. Browse all sizes here.
Step 4: Label Everything
Use small adhesive labels or a fine-tip marker on each vial cap. Note the compound name, concentration, and reconstitution date — this is especially important if you're managing multiple vials at once.
Step 5: Set a Rotation System
Place newer vials at the back and use from the front — first in, first out. This ensures you're always using the oldest vials before they expire.
